How far in advance should I order my dress?
All of our dresses are Made-To-Order. Whether you ordered a standard or custom size, your dress will still need Tailoring Time. Handcrafting each dress to order allows us to ensure that each dress we create meets our stringent quality standards. The most time-consuming part of creating your dress is also what makes it so exquisite—the beading, embroidering, ruching, and attaching of appliqués. Each of these processes is done by hand. Finally, we sew the lining and boning of your dress to ensure that it stays as beautiful as you will be on your special day. The best part is, we are still able to custom tailor your dress and ship it out to you in less time than many other dress retailers. Handcrafting each dress to order is how we at LightInTheBox.com ensure that your first glimpse of the dress will convince you that it was worth the wait.
The best way to ensure a stress-free shopping experience is to allow plenty of time for our tailoring and shipping periods, plus additional time to try on the dress and make any necessary alterations once it arrives.
